What empty headed posting. If the man was elected twice, he certainly is right up there with Bill Clinton (at least). Remember Jimmy Carter? I hope not.

I loved the Top Ten Reasons to Own a Backwards Bush Countdown Clock Keychain, especially number 1 "Wearing one around your neck helps to keep Republicans away and smells much better than garlic."

What empty headed thinking, that's what got him elected in the first place...

They also have a desktop model, and the code is available there to put the counter on your web page! It's been displayed proudly on my web page for months.
I have the desktop version on the desktop of every computer I own, and my machine at work. If I'm feeling blue, a quick glance at the beautifully progressive countdown timer always cheers me up.
It's always nice to see the reality that time is running out for the dick 'n boosh crime syndicate. I can't wait to see the timer hit 00:00:00. It will be a glorious moment in time.

Or the next step into something worse. We can HOPE for better, but just remember-Bush is just one person in a large group up there :)
I think we need a bit more of rotation than just one person to really get some kind of change going.

I believe the correct wording would be , What AN empty headed posting.
Other examples would be, what AN empty headed president. Or, what AN empty headed response.

As far as B. Clinton, oil was $32/bbl, Housing/Money Markets/Financial Institutions/The Treasury did better as well as the markets. You sure you want to go there?
W, Elected by the Supremes the first time, then Diebold the second. Oh, and how is that man helping your portfolio these days Billy? What has he done for you lately?

Glad to see you finally admit that Ron Paul who is still running is no better than the rest of the field.

That list seems fair enough. Just add LBJ and we've got the whole crew.
I'm glad Carter wasn't on the list. He didn't do anything really bad. Ofcourse he didn't really do anything at all.

Obama won't take a VP nod (he's said so many times), and Hillary is too proud to take a VP nod. It's going to be one or the other. And quite frankly, Obama is more electible.
The only way there would be a combo is if........Obama LIED. Oh...the humanity.......Obama would then be no better than the rest of the lot.

Well with all the buzz about Rev. Wright, Sen.Obama may be wrong for America and we might see another republican at the helm with the same politics... I hope this don't happen, deja vu (1968)...

And Osama was attacking American interests with no ramifications because Bill was defending himself (Monica) and Hillary was defending herself (White Water).
Seriously, do you remember the nations climate at the time? Everyone was sure that Bill was going to pick a fight with Iraq or someone else just to get the attention off his self.
Yes the current war is bad. But take a look at the number and type of pre-war military deployments under Clinton. Seems for a group of folks who disliked the military so much, they were sure fast on the draw to deploy them.
Can't blame them, the Military was and likely still is the only group in the US that will actually follow orders. They say yes sir (or mam) right after "are you serious? You've got to be friggin kidding)"

Consider this, Oil started rising right after Y2K. No one is sure or will admit a Y2K glitch caused capacity to be understated, but the oil and gas prices rose to record levels -- until the media started making a stink. Then it happened the next year, little higher, not quite as low. Then 911, then Katrina. Each case, raise a little more, take more profits, then back off when it seems folks may be mad enough to do something about that.
Frankly, I believe the course of events would have happened no matter who was in office. The only exception being us going into Iraq for the 2nd time with out the UN backing. That, and Bush's Axis of Evil speech were simply bad calls. Fact -- the only good things that came out of Iraq is that Saddam is dead, and some folks may have a better chance at living a decent life (if the damn place ever stabalizes).

Glad to see you finally admit that Ron Paul who is still running is no better than the rest of the field.Uhhh - no. That's not what I said. Ron does not have a chance to win the nomination at this point in time thus he will not be the President. Of the 3 that could be President, McCain, Obama, and Hillary, none of them will be any better than Bush which is VERY sad.
