For ops using or considering CW, here is a new forum about the technical side of radiotelegraphy. About keys, transmitters, receivers, techniques - everything involving the technical (hardware) side of CW.
Give it a look at: http://forum.radiotelegraphy.net/phpBB3/
The forum is an outgrowth of the popular RadioTelegraphy site at:

Sounds good! The idea of consolidating a lot of CW related subjects on one site is an excellent one....

It's about time CW was recognised!
I need a small single lever keyer. Something easy to take along on camping/hiking outings.
I would appreciate any information.

Thank you QRZ.com for recognizing the original "Digital Mode". And yes, it is still legal and widely in use (just listen to the bottom 50 khz of any Ham band), especially during contest weekends. It makes me appreciate getting the 20 wpm when I did, and I did it to prove that I could do it, to myself. The great thing about it is, that there are new hams that are still wanting to take the "code test", even though they do not need to, and we are giving them certs to confirm that they took and passed the exam to give them the recognition that they deserve. CW has become a "Black Art", and one that I am proud to be practicing.
73, es gud DX
To those who don't use CW
Best wishes, and good DX to you.
