I didn't know Harvey, but I knew of him. My condolences to his family, friends, and students.

Edited to add: Additional info from AA6SC, received in another mail...

Hello, Friends. This does not match what we were told earlier. Hopefully confirmation will be forthcoming. Either way it won't bring back Harvey, but it would be nice to know the facts. I would feel a little better knowing it was not a hit and run. We shall await developments. If my earlier report was incorrect, I apologize to each and every one of you.

I knew Harvey as both a Ham and as a cyclist. This is very sad, he will be missed by many. Kim Bottles - K7IM
