London, Nigeria? :D Her name isn't something like Mrs. Alice Mbumbojumbou, isn't it?

Possibly legit, perhaps, but in this day and age of Internet scams, I think I'd give that some pretty low odds. Next there's gonna be some "courier" or "agent" or "representative" involved, cash before delivery, a promise to ship, difficulties with customs, unforeseen delays getting your purchase to you, one bleepin' thing after another...

If in doubt, have her ship it to you to inspect. Then if it is satisfactory send money.

well, to put a ribbon on it ,
she could not furnish her late husbands call .
said she couldnt remember it , and sent me a stock photo
of a pll board , she obviously pulled off the internet
doesnt even closely resemble the one im looking for
so, i told her that id have to pass ,
it seemed fishy from the start .

thanks for the advice fellas

uhhhhh-HUH! Yep. Stock text with a "copy-and-paste fill-in-the-blank" spot for the description of the item. [Underline added by me.] And I'll bet it's an exact copy, a direct quote from your original "wanted" post, isn't it?

Someone should post a "wanted" message for, say, a Dynazoid Mark-X 140-meter toroid tube. I'll bet "Mrs. Mary Williams in London" just happens to have "the orgeanl...Dynazoid Mark-X 140-meter toroid tube...in a good condition," left behind by her poor old dearly-departed late dead deceased husband... :D

Now that would be funny, however, you would get pounded by Ham's calling the ad a scam or bogus. Sure would like to see how the scammers would react though!

Something like this:
