If you put:
site:qrz.com
at the front of a google search, google will search only qrz for that term, not the entire internet. No spaces.
If you put:
intext:leenyer
google will search the text portion only for the word leenyer. Only the text; not URLS, not headers. Again, no spaces.
If you put two or more words in quotation marks, google will search for the whole phrase. If you google DEAD HORSE, you will get a jillion hits each on DEAD and HORSE. "DEAD HORSE" should returns only posts that include those particular words.
Search terms can be combined:
site:qrz.com intext:kg4kww
returns posts in which our resident undertaker has posted. Less than you would think, apparently only recent posts.
If you believe, as I do that nx6d has never had a good thing to say about anybody;
site:qrz.com intext:nx6d
and try to find a post where he doesn't have something rude to say.
If you believe, as I do, that people who post here and use the word neocon are as a rule arrogant, belligerent and obnoxious;
site:qrz.com intext:neocon
and see for yourself.
Getting away from nastiness for a minute:
site:forums.qrz.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7 intext:heathkit
returns references to Heathkit in the classified forum. Not back to the dawn of time, just recent references.
Enjoy.

This is an old one but a good one....
Go to Google and type in @sshole (the actual word) and hit the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button instead of "Google Search".

Why would anyone put in leenyer ? Its a non word, its grammatically incorrect, it can't be found in a dictionary.

It's the ham mentality here in the USA. Many hams are obsessed with CB radio. It is the bogeyman here. Every ham has a fear and disdain of anything CB, and they like to build themselves up by putting down CB ops.
Look around QRZ. You will see an inordinate amount of talk about CB. Now we actually have enough problems on our own bands, but some always like to talk about the other.

"Obsessed" is correct.
I don't get the fascination with CB that some of our ranks have. I must be some kind of self esteem issue, that they have to trash members of another service to make themselves feel better.
The dumb "leenyer" comment posted by the originator of this thread is a classic example. That station obviously has issues. Give it up, station. CB exists, and you can't do a thing about it. If you really had it together, you'd ignore the whole service. I doubt you can.

CB doesn't exist in my universe. I can honestly say that. I never had one growing up, never wanted one and while I do remember the fad in the 70s, we never took part.(other than my walkie talkies that were on CB channel 14.) I asked my Dad, who was a ham, why he didn't want one of those radios too. He just smiled.
