Who here buys from the Schwan's truck? Ice Cream rant...

I just cannot get the same quality of ice cream from the grocer! Particually Ice cream sandwiches, the wafers in the grocery store are ALWAYS SOGGY.

When I eat a Schwan's Ice cream wafer, the wafer is never soggy, abit expensive, so I don't have them come to my house, but they usually park their truck in a lot on Fridays, so I usually buy in bulk, using the insulated bags.

It is expensive, but it's alot better...and all that buy American jibber jabber.

Anyhow I got my freezer stocked up for summer. :)

Yeah, we buy from Schwann's and the ice cream is pretty good, some of the other stuff ain't half bad either.

1) They have quality goods
2) There truck stays cold as the Antarctic!

They are a bit expensive, but very convenient. Not everything they sell is "awesome" but nearly.

I love their ice-cream sandwich.

I used to do electrical maintenance. One of the places I serviced was Carolina Dairies.
You should if ever the chance try an ice-cream sandwich of the machine.
It is amazing. Cookie is crisp!.

The golden nugget ice cream bars. My gawsh I couldn't just eat one... My mom wanted to kill me anytime she caught me getting another one out of the freezer.

I went to their website and it appears they don't.

BTW... Remember the Microshakes from the late 80's?
