I bought this unit new on Amazon.com 2 years ago. Never used (thankfully). It is brand new and it’s an OTC (over the counter) unit, no prescription needed. If however you want pediatric pads you will need a prescription for those.

Here is your chance to own an AED and be ready for that next cardiac event. Great for you ARES folks on deployment, or in the home where sudden cardiac death is a major issue.

This unit comes with one set of adult pads, 1 lithium Ion battery with a shelf life of 6 years the instruction booklet and case. It is advisable that anyone wishing to use this AED be certified in CPR/AED through the appropriate agency. Some states require those who use AED's be certifed to do so if they are to be covered under the states good smartian act.
