Just knew George for a year as part of my regular 75M group. Others on the frequency knew George for 30 years or more. In the year I knew him he always was willing to help me, and we shared a few one on one QSOs that were very enjoyable. Perhaps one of the other guys will add to this. One of our conversations was about our cats. The attached picture is one he sent me of himself and his cat "Bill". I considered him a friend and a mentor.
