In the spirit of love and peace and happiness and compassion and forgiveness I ask, how many of you who dislike the Clintons can turn such bitterness to love.
Even if you are not happy with the Clintons role in politics shouldn't you have the capacity to forgive and to love ? After all, we are all brothers and sisters of the earth.

I have a coworker who was at the Pentagon when Shrillary was in the White House. He encountered her, at the Pentagon, more than once.
He won't forgive the harridan.

Well, hopefully he will someday find the ability to forgive. It takes a great deal of inner strength to forgive and to love those whom we feel have wronged us. But once a person does turn bitterness to love it is a beautiful thing.

Wow, that was specific and insightful...

One of the many reasons I love the Clintons was the shenanagans they became involved in that created numerous oportunities for the hillarious but truth based parodies heard regularly on Rush's radio show.
Thanks Bill and Hill!

Well, only one Clinton is significant to me, since I don't reside in NY.
I appreciate that Mr. Bill didn't invade any sovereign nations in the feeble attempt to build a democracy with bombs like some idiots did.

The real question is how true is it really, people frequently make up reasons to hate other people, just look at the 2004 elections :D
It's always even more suspect when something begins with a friend of mine. Hmm is that friend some talk radio show host or a caller to a talk radio show. I have actually have heard this line used on the Medium Wave and well I always believe each and every caller who calls in to talk radio shows

Sure
Just as soon has Hillary embraces Monica, comes through with all that health care reform the team was working on when Bill was in office, and acknowledges the 2nd Amendment is a right of the people and commits, in writing NOT to screw with any of the 10 Amendments........................
Lets see...I could probably forgive them when they: stop lying, stop their lust for power, stop using other people for their selfish purposes, stop thinking they are so damned important, stop thinking that they are above everyone else, stop acting like the world owes them whatever they want, stop trampling on the rights we are guaranteed in the Constitution of the United States, stop being proponents of behavior that is immoral...so, that probably means that, realistically, I will never be in a position to forgive them.
I'd LOVE for Hillary to continue her work in the senate.

Lets see...I could probably forgive them when they: stop lying,
They haven't allegedly lied any more than Bush, And Hillary did not lie us into a corrupt war.
stop their lust for power,
What lust for power. If the Clintons have a lust for power then so does every single politician.
stop using other people for their selfish purposes,
Whom specifically have they used for selfish purposes and what politician hasn't ?
stop thinking they are so damned importan
They ARE important. He was a president and she is a senator trying to become president. They shouldn't just be thinking they are important.... they ARE important.
t, stop thinking that they are above everyone else,
How are they thinking they are above everyone else ? Again, if they are thinking they are above everyone then so is Bush and just about every politician. matter of fact Bush routinely disregards the opinions of the American people and does as he pleases.
stop acting like the world owes them whatever they want,
Again, what specifically did they ask from the world. And again, what politician doesn't actlike the world owes them one ? Bush routinely acts this way. He is going to impose OUR way (i.e. HIS way) on the world. And many Americans have adopted the opinion that they are superior to the entire world. You hear it on right wing talk radio all the time.
stop trampling on the rights we are guaranteed in the Constitution of the United States,
Again, just like many politicians and just as Bush has done again and again and it presently doing.
stop being proponents of behavior that is immoral...
How are they proponents of immoral behavior ? Okay, the president got a BJ in the White House. Most likely nothing new in politics. Perhaps you feel that such an act is immoral. Fine. But who promoted it ? The republicans did by making it a public issue and pouring all the details into the public eye.
There is a big difference between committing an act versus being a proponent of that act. I didn't see the Clinton's getting up and arguing that such behavior is benevolent and should be done by everyone.
And if you consider the act in and of itself maked Clinton a proponent then you've probably described a large segment of politicians. What about these republican senators fooling around with page boys, interns, etc.
so, that probably means that, realistically, I will never be in a position to forgive them.
Then you shouldn't forgive any politicians because the behaviors you described (some of which are ridiculous) are not unique to the Clintons and are largely a part of the Washington scene. Or, you can forgive them by seeing politicians as persons who have gone astray and offer them compassion and hope rather than blanket condemntation.

It is hard not to be nostalgic about how much prosperity there was under Bill Clinton. I don't believe in history being cyclical but it does rhyme, paraphrase of Samuel Clemens, the challenges will different and the world is different. First we need to stop creating more terrorist by waging a Tenth Crusade (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenth_Crusade) against the Islamic nations. We need to, at least, start getting out of Iraq.
Unfortunately Bin Laden will remain a symbol since Bush never got him.
But the notion of talking to enemies is a step in the right direction, Bush continues to not engage in statesmanship.
Alas it will be a a long road to follow repairing the damage done over the last seven years. It can be done but may take just as long to undo as it did to create the situation.

Unless he is a neoKonservative addicted to the likes of Lush Bimbo, he will rush in here to fall in agreement with you. Unless he is a war mongering, PNAC inspired neoKonservative, that is ...

One of the reasons I liked Bill was his ability to go from Yuking it up to BOO HOO in less than 12 seconds flat! You got to love that! It was all caught on tape, otherwise no one would belive it.

Why hasn't this been thought of before?
