Plus anyone who doesn't want a democrat.

I'd say, to be fair, that it was a collective failure. Nothing partisan about it.

What Efforts???
-- Notables ------------- Do you feel safe now? Want more of this? --
In April 2005, Berger pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unauthorized removal and retention of classified material from the National Archives in Washington. According to the lead prosecutor in the case Berger only took copies of classified information and that no original material was destroyed; however, there is notable controversy and speculation that he might have removed or destroyed originals of other unknown documents as well.
Berger currently serves as a foreign policy adviser to Senator Hillary Clinton in her presidential campaign.
In 1999, Berger was criticized for failing to promptly inform President Clinton of his knowledge that the People's Republic of China had managed to acquire the designs of a number of U.S. nuclear warheads. Berger was originally briefed of the espionage by the United States Department of Energy (DOE) in April 1996, but did not inform the president until July 1997.
Mr. Berger should resign", Alexander said. "If he does not, he should be relieved of his duties by President Clinton."[9] President Clinton rejected the calls: "The record is that we acted aggressively," Clinton said. "Mr. Berger acted appropriately.
Mr. President, I want you to listen again. I am going to pick up on the incredible but true story of the Clinton Administration's betrayal of national security and the scandalous coverup that continues as we speak.on how the Clinton Administration has undermined national security to simultaneously pursue its misguided foreign policies and self-serving domestic political agendas. On the one hand, there is the mind-boggling story of how the Clinton Administration deliberately changed almost 50 years of bipartisan security policies--relaxing export restrictions, signing waivers to allow technology transfers, ignoring China's violation of arms control agreements and its theft of our nuclear secrets, opening up even more nuclear and high technology floodgates to China and others–thus harming U.S. national security.
President Clinton signed waivers to allow his top campaign fundraiser's aerospace company to transfer U.S. missile guidance technology to China.
First, let us begin with a simple fact: Sixteen of the 17 most significant major technology breaches revealed in the Cox Report were first discovered after 1994. With the lone exception of the breach of the initial design information of the W-70 warhead (the so-called neutron bomb)--which was first discovered during the Carter administration–everything else was first discovered during the Clinton administration. Let me repeat–sixteen of the 17 most significant major technology breaches revealed in the Cox Report were first discovered during the Clinton administration.
In 1994, President Clinton ended COCOM, the Coordinating Committee on Multinational Export Control, the multi-nation agreement among U.S. friends and allies that they would not sell certain high technology items to countries like China. When this happened, it opened the commercial floodgates. Ever since, there has been a wild scramble of competition to sell more and more advanced technology to China. As a result, proliferation has never been worse than it has been in the last six years.

I also didn't say you could make one out of common household foil. So use your imagination, find some tin foil, make some tin foil, and then process it into hats.

Hey Luke, Thanks for stopping by.
The problem is, the Clinton anti terrorist bill doesn't really address anti terrorism.
1. The bill focused alot on sentencing. whoopy doo.
2. Legislation was basically seen as ineffective.
3. Here is what was dropped:
- The bill, which would cost $1 billion over four years, also calls for "tagging" plastic explosives to better trace them. The bill calls for a study on tagging methods for other explosives such as fertilizer and black powder. Critics say the study provision is a concession to groups opposed to restrictions on explosive materials.
- The Republicans also dropped the additional wire-tap authority the Clinton administration wanted. U.S. Attorney general Janet Reno had asked for "multi-point" tapping of suspected terrorists, who may be using advanced technology to outpace authorities.
- The compromise bill also removed Democratic provisions that would have lengthened the statute of limitations on illegally making a bomb, silencer, or sawed-off shotgun. Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-California, argued in favor of the excised measures, noting that law enforcement has five years to track an arsonist down. But Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, said the provision was unnecessary. "Anyone who uses a bomb ... or illegal weapon under this act will be persecuted under the criminal code and receive far larger penalties than are under this act," he said.
- Also dropped: A provision that would have made posting bomb-making information on the Internet illegal.
These are really issues that shows the flip/flop of the democrats - wiretapping is OK under a democrat administration, but not for a republican administration.
I see nothing in the Clinton bill that was about anti terrorism. Stuff that wouldn't survive the scrutiny of the courts, ineffective, or covered by other laws were dropped.
Your turn.

Lessee here. What on earth can the nation of the United States of America do to stop a handful of men armed with box cutters?
I give up. With the shape Clinton left this nation in when he left office, we do not have the ability to read security memos that say that there will be hijackings and attacks on Wash DC and New York by bin Laden.
You got me there. We are a helpless nation. Or HAPLESS as the case may be.
Mebbe we could get people in office who can read simple memos?

He's also got an interesting definition of 'dismal'. The best available evidence is that Obama and Clinton will have tied for the day on delegates at 185 each once the Texas caucus results are in.
In states where Obama's presence in the race has led to record primary turnouts.

So true.
Based on her victory in the presidential primary, Clinton took 65 delegates to Obama’s 61. But based on early precinct convention returns, he could walk away with a 98-95 victory in overall delegates.
In Texas, the process of allocating those delegates takes months.

Nope... I'm just saying the "Proud" family probably isn't so these last few days...
The nasty Clinton-Obama sparring is just beginning. I shall enjoy casually following this "Democratic" process. In comparison, it should tame my visions on "how the west was won."
Oh woe is Barack. He is far ahead in delegate count. The poor fellow will undoubtedly get the nomination now.
Oh woe is he.
After the results of the 4 March contests, Obama leads with 1573 delegates (1366 pledged delegates + 207 Super Delegates), while Clinton follows with 1464 (1222 Pledged Delegates + 242 Super Delegates). Obama leads Clinton by 109 delegates.
It's far from over... and will be fun to watch.
Oh woe is Barack. He leads by only 109 delegates with the mass majority of super delegates jumping Hillary's ship to clamor to Barack.
These are sad days for Barack who doesn't want to be president but will apparently be forced to be.

Why aren't the majority of people not worried about having someone like Obama in office? Our country will not be the same if that happens and as far as Amateur radio, it would eventually be forbidden to use the airways privately. Obama may be a ploy to get McCain as president since Israel does not want us to have a Muslim as president for certain. They placed Bush in office just to have someone to invade a Muslim country to protect themselves. As far as Michelle, have they proven she is actually his wife?

Many people believe 9/11 was planned by Israel and the USA. Why else did we invade Iraq so fast and kill thousands for no reason. If it is true, we certainly live in a wicked country.
...As far as Michelle, have they proven she is actually his wife?
I am not really sure that they have proven she's black. Actually, I think she's American or some bigoted nationality like that.
But I have heard reports that Obama has two black children somewhere.
