Ron Paul is running for Congress too. If you want smaller government and less taxes send him $10 or whatever you feel like.

The Galveston County Daily News (http://galvestondailynews.com/story.lasso?ewcd=35a797ecc9cabe45) suggests you'd be better off sending your money to Chris Peden, who, unlike Dr. Paul, actually seems to know what the issues in Paul's district are.
Perhaps you should leave local politics to the people who live in the district.

Perhaps the residents of that district have learned the "Learned Hand" lesson: "It is better that wisdom come late than never at all."
:D
Guess that makes a total of 20 bucs wasted by the Ronettes.
Look at it like this. If Ron loses, he can always go back to that 'newsletter' of his. Of course, he will not have written these either.
:p;)

It will be interesting to see if he gets re-elected.
Actually it will be interesting if he gets dumped.

He can relocate to Northern Idaho and run there. Judging from a host of his internet supporters, he would fit right in.

NPR (http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?t=153357) on Ron Paul's chances to retain his position.
"Chris Peden is the real conservative in this race."
Listen up Ronettes.

It will be interesting to see if he gets re-elected.Yeah - with all of his name recognition in the area he will win hands down by a landslide. People there love him; he's done a lot to help his community.

Actually, you've got the tense wrong. All of the articles on Paul's congressional race point out that he's out of touch and that his presidential run has isolated people who used to approve of him.
Paul's concentrating on his congressional race right now because he knows he might lose. If he thought he could "win hands down by a landside", he wouldn't be putting the effort into it he is.

Point out the bias in the article, Matt.

The only problem I have with Peden beating Paul is that the Paulites will whine about it being "retribution" for Paul's failed presidential campaign and they won't realize it was simply because Paul's not competent for the job.

Oh well eventually they will get over it and find a new messiah to worship maybe that one will also be a constitutional inerrant?
