Unable to delete posts

Howdy, Fred:

I'm a subscriber and am unable to delete my posts as of about a week or so ago. Is there a switch I need to (re)set or has something gone wonky?

I tell ya, those Radio Shack computer parts...sheesh! :D

As far as I know, no one is capable of deleting a post on the forum once it's made. You can however (for the first few days) EDIT your posts. But there isn't a delete button. You'll have to make an official request with a moderator or admin for something like that.

I think this is Fred's policy. There was a post several years ago that deletes were not permitted so the msgs could be saved for a long time, or something like that. You just have to edit or make a new entry marked SOLD.

Thanks, guys. I guess I'm losing my mind 'cause I thought I could delete my own posts; I must be confused with the 10+ other BBSs I subscribe to.
