W6QM A model for true character. I purchased a Hallicrafters SR-2000 from a ham half way across the country who had health problems. He was unable to lift or move the rig. I put out a call on the forum for aid. W6QM answered the call. He picked up the rig, removed the more fragile components, wrapped them and placed them inside the rig. Then he took it to the shipper and had it professionally packed and shipped it off. Other than the actual cost of packing and shipping, he refused any kind of remuneration. Thanks again Ron.
