A 19-year-old Florida man was arrested for singing the profane lyrics of a rap song near children, TampaBays10.com reported.

The children's mother complained to police Christopher Holder was yelling profanities while walking with two kids, and her children didn't need to hear the language he was using.

But, Holder told police he was singing the lyrics to a song by artist Lil' Boosie, according to TampaBays10.com.

One day I was getting gas at a self serve station and some idiot had his stereo up so loud you could hear it a block away. The lyrics of the 'song' he was playing was laced with profanity. My 13 year old daughter was with me at the time an I felt like grabbing the idiot with the loud stereo by the throat and ramming his head through his sub-woofer.

I didn't. We were 70 miles from home and I really didn't want to spend the night in the Lake County jail. Especially after working there for a few months.

I hope more of these pin heads get their taste of life behind bars. They deserve it.

I read last week that 80 % of Americans attend church on a regular basis, so does this mean that the god fearing people of America readily accept vulgarity in a public place with children in attendance ?

Rap is just an Ethinic music style (with EMINEM being the Caucasian exception!) To be a Rap star, you can't have a regular name, like Elvis Presley! You have to have names like Snoop Doggy Dog, LL Cool J, Young Buck (Bet that gets some folks hopping mad!! HIP HOPPING MAD!!!), Lil Scrappy, Ice Tea, Ice Cube, Ice COLD, NO ID, JAY Z, and whole bunch of other "custom" names. It is Ethinic much the same way Mariachi music is Ethinic to Mexico. With Rap, you need no singing ability, so no chance you will make it on American Idol. You only need to talk fast and use lots of profanity quickly so you can get away with it. Much of it is hate directed against the Police or system, talking about the Boys from the HOOD, Gangs, doing drugs, shooting up places, drive bys, and demanding Reparations for centuries gone by. To dance to it, you lay on your back with your arms and feet in the air, and spin around like a top. Or lay on your stomach and scoot around the floor on your belly!! No music is required, only very high volume low frequency bass rythms with extra high powered Subwoofers. I can hear the Subwoofers through the wall here at work but not abit of the rest of the songs. It works best to listen to it in a Caddy with those tiny tiny tires only an inch thick and wide rims. SUPER FLY!!!! Even my little Niece is into it, rapping away not having any idea what she is saying but jabbering away anyway because thats what is being inflicted on her daily at school. Why can't they listen to some GOOD music, Like Celine Deon??? "MY HEART WILL GO ON AND ON......"

The way you just described rap is the way several of my elders described all of rock n roll. From Elvis Presley through the Beatles and beyond.

Personally I think rap is no better or worst than anything else. It's all a matter of preference. What one generation may treasure others may find grotesque.
