So what's your point?
Is he still dead? Any changes in status we should know about?

So what's your point?
Don't take up smoking, or try to quit if you are already addicted.

What was he doing in bed with a servant?

For us Americans, we really don't care, but for the Brits, it's probably a day of rememberance.
the U.K. really needs a King, not too sure what the "royal family" part, is in the government of the U.k., I'll let our mates over the pond explain that.

The recent "news anniversary" has been the 50th anniversary of the Munich air crash.
On the 6th February 1958, an aeroplane carrying (amongst others) the Manchester United football team crashed while trying to take off at Munich airport.
23 people died, including 8 members of the football team.

GM3ZMA what does a plane crash have to do with your Kings passing.
Absolutely nothing!
I was simply trying to point out that nobody is interested that the Royal Dude Died.
However, people are remembering the dead in the aforementioned airplane crash in Munich.
Given that there are only 365/366 days in a year, and there are billions of dead people, it is not difficult to fined some famous/infamous/noteworthy/hated/respected figure who died on any particular day of the year.

The Queen did it.
Unlikely, he was her father.
She also had a good alibi, she was in Kenya at the time.

If there were no King or Queen, then how could we drink "To the King", or "To the Queen?" I'm not a Brit, but I like those toasts.
"To the Queen!"
