Thanks to the moderators for letting me post a farewell message before I am banned. Seems that several no code types persuaded the powers that be that the ZED would be better without my contributions. What they could not do on the pages of QRZ, they do in secret behind closed doors. I am in no way defeated by this tactic. As long as there is breath in my body I will fight against those who would kill AR with apathy.

Charlie, while you and I have disagreed quite often, and often quite strongly... I am sorry to see this happen.
Without knowing further details, it would be inappropriate for me to comment much beyond this.
But one question does come to mind: If you allegedly crossed a line... what was that line?

I cannot imagine that anyone could be so thin-skinned and childish as to insist on banishment, and my esteem for the management here would evaporate faster than a puddle of liquid nitrogen on a Phoenix sidewalk on the Fourth of July were it true.
On second thought, some of the postings that Charlie has inspired from among the knuckle-dragging Techs would float the ark of Noah's descendants upon a sea of tears. Antebellum Alabama did not have enough cotton to make towels enough to dry their oooh, sooo ssssensitive eyes.
Upon tertiary cogitation, there have been sufficient mis-moderations over my tenure as a Zedizen to warrant a modicum of worry. Adjudications over puerile disputes have, on occasion, imitated the best efforts of the Ninth Circuit.

You KNOW it had to be a hoax. When even FRED says a person deserves to be banned, and that person is still allowed to be going strong, Charlie would have a LONG way to go to be banished. Sometimes Charlie is a bit (?!) abrasive (to [mostly] a subset of the newbies,) but he often SAYS what many people here merely think.
