It's with great sadness that I must post this 'SILENT KEY'. Lou W6LEM, passed away Jan. 22, 2008 from heart problems. I knew Lou from the Mt. Disappointment Repeater and was a regular on the 0900 Blue Line Net in the greater Los Angeles area. By trade Lou was a plumber and had his own business. He leaves a very loving wife who went camping and fishing and young adult children from a previous marriage. Lou was only 59 and loved life. He was a friend of mine and he'll be missed by many, including me. He offered his plumbing services to the other HAMS, many retired police/fire. He did this without being asked. Lou was very grateful and proud to know of all those in the emergency services. Lou was one of those guys you looked forward to talking to on the radio or for a first time meet you'd look forward to a QSO. To you Lou, see you up the road when we meet again, GOD BLESS and
