View Full Version : Who will Edwards endorse?
The white woman or the black man?
My bets are on Obama. Either that or Edwards will just go back to being a senator.
Pity though. I liked Edwards a lot. He seemed to be a genuine person who put his passion into the race.
Hillary seemed like she was talking down to a lot of people, and Obama seemed rather timid.

WHAT????? Edwards suppport McCain????
Proof once again that you really don't have a clue about politics. Best stick to your newsmax link and runs. Whenever you open your mouth something foolish like this comes out that demonstrates how clueless you really are.
If you think John Edwards, one of the leading men of the Democratic party would support a Republican, you are just completely ignorant. Edwards will do everything in his power to make sure a Democrat gets elected this election.

Yeh, I liked Edwards, but with all the media attention going to Clinton and Obama, he was never really in the spotlight. I think he goes with Obama myself. OTOH, maybe he's trying to get one of the candidates to go with some program he wants before making the endorsement. Be funny if he became a running mate for Obama. That'd be a good ticket.

 What? Are you nuts? Surely you jest. Edwards is DISHONEST (like that should be a shocker to anyone). Without checking his sources, he tried to link homeless vets to the economy. What an idiot.
Someone needs to speak out for our vets.

Yes, but it shouldn't be a moron like John Edwards. Personally I'm glad the idiot is out of the race.

Well that's McCain's strong point - but he has many, many shortcomings.
Let's see who else... Ron Paul? Ron Paul was an Air Force flight surgeon... but you'd be hard pressed to think that he'd get elected. :D

If John Edwards is a moron, then George Bush must be retarded... for real that is.

Somewhere I recently saw a photo of Edwards speaking. Next to him, his son Jack was holding up a sign that read: "Vote for my father or he will sue you!"
I should have saved the link, but, alas...

But this thread isn't about Bush. It's about Edwards and YOU are the one that started it. ;)
Edwards never spent ONE DAY serving our Flag in the military. I seriously doubt he would last 24 hours in our military and yet he EXPLOITS disabled vets like myself by making claims he could NOT prove. I, along with many other disabled veterans, have a RIGHT to be OFFENDED.

Nor did osama or hitlery.
Either one of those clowns get elected you can be assured reduced benefits for vets, more base closures and unsecured borders.
BTW You are disabled vet?
I just want you to know thanks for all you have done serving in the forces and fighting for our freedoms.

Yep. Served in the U.S. Navy 1979-1991 as an Aviation Support Equipment Technician 1st Class (E-6).

You're welcome.

Isn't that exactly what's happening right now under Capt. Awol? Yet, I have rarely heard vets mention it. So why is that so important all of a sudden?

So why is that so important all of a sudden?
Because it is the only thing that came to his mind.

Why yes it does seem to be that way doesn't it?
I wonder if we (USA) had to be fully responsible for the individuals and their families involved in military service till some uncertain date like death, adulthood, etc would we think that the cost of war might be too high.
Some might others well they don't think past their nose. So they (the leaders) who are willing to start wars see it as inexpensive to themselves...

Given the selection available, likely McCain or Ron Paul
Frankly if Hilliary and Obama were not running, which has the media attention, I think Edwards would have had a chance.
Not sure I agree with some of the things he supports, but I do like how he tried on both elections to keep focus on what mattered (until he was forced to play by Kerry's play book)
By the way, wonder if old Edwards is going to send that play back to John Boy postage due?
