With Super Tuesday looming ahead, did Mr. 9/11 bail to avoid a humiliating defeat in New York City, his home town? As you know, most New York posters here have been warning everyone they can about Rudy. And NYC is probably feeling pretty much the same way.

So, did Rudy bolt to avoid a national spanking in the Big Apple?

I know I would've loved to see it myself.

Well duh, John!

I pointed this out a week or so ago, that Rudy was failing both in Florida and in NY.

The problem with Rudy is that his supporters in Florida are liberal democrats.

Dems aren't going to vote in the Republican primary!

Anyway, I am glad that this election is going to be Rudy free! But then again, McCain could choose him as his running mate.

I am still inclining to Huckabee for that spot. McCain has serious "issues" with the troglodytic fringe on the right of the Republican Party, and a Huckabee partnership might bolster that softness.

Yes, but that marriage would do more harm than good. It would scare away non-affiliated voters. My guess is that he will choose Colin Powell.

Don't count Joe Liebermann out. He could try that tack to create a "Fusion" ticket.

Yep Ryan, you do seem to be right on this. I haven't got a clue what Florida's doing yet. Too early in the election cycle. Well, nobody is going to take his claim to being the Mayor of 9/11 away.
