Ron and Dennis are polar opposites. Strategically it would be a good move, but Ron would never do it.

I hate to be the one that tells you this but neither would Dennis :D
That combo would be a bit like Al Sharpton and David Duke :D

So, what you are saying is that Ron Paul would refuse to do that which makes sense?

That provides us with an enlightening glimpse into the mind of your candidate, wouldn't you say? It offers an even more informative view of your own cogitative processes. In short: It explains a lot.

Albert,

Sorry for the digression, but grant us a clue to the origins of your avatar.

I know I've seen it before, but I'm going crazy trying to remember just where!

Albert,

Sorry for the digression, but grant us a clue to the origins of your avatar.

I know I've seen it before, but I'm going crazy trying to remember just where!

My avatar represents a memory of a toy from a misspent youth.

It is the logo William T. Piper affixed to the fin of every Cub launched from Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, in those days when I was a stripling. Originally, the word "CUB" was in the red field. As is my wont, I took some liberties now that I could not afford then, and can even less afford now.

Some changes are crueler than others.

I'm trying to figure this one out.

RP is getting less than 5% of the republican vote, DC was getting even less of the democratic vote, yet if we team them up they will be unbeatable?

Obama + Romney or Hillary/Thompson might be better.

All of these have one thing in common- not gonna happen.

Your mission is analagous to trying to interpret the speech of anyone speaking in "tongues." Best to leave analyses of these folks to someone with an empty couch.

So, what you are saying is that Ron Paul would refuse to do that which makes sense? No I'm saying that Ron Paul doesn't sell out like the other whores. He doesnt change his policy and his stance and his platform based upon what will get the most votes.

No I'm saying that Ron Paul doesn't sell out like the other whores. He doesnt change his policy and his stance and his platform based upon what will get the most votes.

And it shows, with less than 5% of the vote.

He stands for his beliefs, but most people think his beliefs suck, thats the problem.

He has no "give and take", no compromise or willingness to listen to another thought pattern.

"My way or the highway" seems to be his motto.

People are voting "highway".

If you were better versed in English, you might realize what you posted. It is highly accurate in one sense, and wishful thinking in another.

Thank you for the entertainment.

I'd vote for that, but I'd really be voting for Kucinich's wife, hoping for a bit of a scandal in the WH. :)

Too bad Ron couldn't get all of Kucinich's delegates.

Oh, wait..... does he have any?

I have to admit, when I first saw the title of this thread, the first thing that came to mind was Paul/Nader!

Sometimes you feel like a nut.

In Ron Paul's case, that is quite often.
