For Ted Kennedy, leaving Mary Jo Kopechne in the car was the ultimate betrayal for women up until to day. Ted Kennedy just came out for Obama instead of Hillary. His lack of judgment and character never ceases to amaze me. Oh what the hell, old Joe Kennedy like doing business with the Nazis and was convinced we would lose the war. What a family.

Indeed the Kennedy criminal family literally gets away with murder.
The whole family is a bunch of no goods and yet people actually LIKE these people.
BTW ol' teddy left her in the car because he was drunk driving and did not want to get caught.
Didn't his nephew get busted a while back for being a rapist and bought his way out and then get caught for drunken and drugged driving in DC?

Regardless of Teddy's past, would it have been better for him to endorse Hillary?
I don't get it. He's a Dem, the others are dems, it is very likely that he would endorse one or the other.
To me, it gives no advantage or disadvantage to either Hillary or Obama, since Ted Kennedy's musings don't affect me anyway. If he was someone I cared about, or respected, then it might have an impact.
Plenty of miscreants have endorsed Hillary and Obama, as well as the republican candidates.
This might make a difference to someone that actually looked up to TK.
Let's see. TK endorses Obama, Bill Clinton endorses Hillary. Hmmmm....

It will provide for an interesting year, I think we can all agree on that.
This is too sweet, the FemiNazis are all over Uncle Ted, no not in that way.

I sense a gathering storm among Democrats. Hillary is a divisive figure, and Bill has reinforced that with his 'over-the-top' efforts against Obama. I think you might see more 'big-name' Democrats come out for Obama over Hillary after 'Super Tuesday.'
The Democrats have not had such a good prospect to capture the WH since '92, and the 'tag team' is jeopardizing the chances now more than they are helping. It was clearly to be 'Hillary's turn' until Obama showed himself to be such a personable and effective campaigner.
It may well come down to electing a Black man and breaking that major barrier -- a very real possibility this time -- and letting the 'woman-as-president' issue slide until a better candidate comes along. There will be ample opportunities in future, but I believe Obama may be too good to pass up for the more insightful Democratic leadership.
Of course, we'll hear the usual howls from the usual suspects here on QRZ, but they represent the yellow-dog hacks, and not the great silent heart of the Party.
Obama brings excitement and a fresh approach. Hillary is merely the same old mess from the past. She will carry a bunch of old white women and the lunatic fringe of the feminazis, but youth, energy and the bulk of the Black electorate will likely coalesce around Obama.
History is being made, and it is not coming from Arkansas.

Here is an interesting article in Slate by Christopher Hitchens.

I almost wish I had seen the interview of Dick Morris by Hanity. Almost.
Hitchens has a good take on Bill and Hillary.

So, why do you keep calling Obama "Osama"?
To much Limbaugh perhaps?
Because really, calling one by a false, inaccurate, and not their real name just makes you look bad.
So, how is Obama "Osama"?
Everytime I ask for proof, reason, etc. you avoid the question.
A fine president you would make!

It strikes me as a squalid (but safe) stand-in for blatant racism.

"tomin for the man" isn't blatant?

There's still hope for you, Commander McBragg. This is one the few sensible things you've said lately...

In a New York Times op-ed Sunday, Caroline Kennedy, daughter of President John F. Kennedy, endorses Barack Obama:
"Over the years," she writes, "I've been deeply moved by the people who've told me they wished they could feel inspired and hopeful about America the way people did when my father was president. This sense is even more profound today. That is why I am supporting a presidential candidate in the Democratic primaries, Barack Obama."
More: "I want a president who understands that his responsibility is to articulate a vision and encourage others to achieve it; who holds himself, and those around him, to the highest ethical standards; who appeals to the hopes of those who still believe in the American Dream, and those around the world who still believe in the American ideal; and who can lift our spirits, and make us believe again that our country needs every one of us to get involved."
"I have never had a president who inspired me the way people tell me that my father inspired them. But for the first time, I believe I have found the man who could be that president — not just for me, but for a new generation of Americans."
Caroline Kennedy (http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2008/01/26/politics/horserace/entry3755554.shtml)
Kennedy's warming up to Obama is a diabolical political ploy of the Clintons... just watch it unfold.

"Picture this - Vice President Oprah!"
If only it could be!
