View Full Version : Change~Sure they will
You know I really get tired of hearing people that have been in office for sometime saying "elect me and I will change things."
They cannot be where they are and running for the office without the parties help and those parties are going to run the same old show right into the ground, again.
Change? If you want get rid of the political machine as we now know it. Oh, and that's not going to happen either.

Well sometimes they do change things only it doesn't end up being an improvement
We actually had a *LOT* of change in the Newt Gingrich Neocon Congresses and since Bush took office. Little of it benefited most Americans in good ways. Most of the change was actually harmful to the continuation of the Middle & Lower Classes as we knew them. We got sold a barrel full of BS.
The problem isn't change. It's the process of change under Neo-Conservative rule that has been the problem so far. It's time to get the budget back under control as it was under Clinton. It's time for change to benefit average Americans and not CEOs. If not, expect a very long haul on this economic "downturn."

The more things change the more they stay the same.
Old French proverb.

They promised "change" and they delievered on their promise.
Oh, did they say the "change" would benefit you? And you don't think so? Listen carefully, because they're TELLING you, you silly person you, that the change IS to your benefit... even as the sheriff auctions off your home because you couldn't make the ARM mortgage payments after you lost your job thanks to the "change."
But not to worry. Your life is better. After all, they told you so... and they are your political leaders: "They never lie, and they're always right." (Thank you, George Tirebiter)
