http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif # I'm going to buy a wireless unit " Linksys WET11 Wireless Ethernet Bridge " to make a link from my Brother in laws house to my router. I was told that a wet11 is the best way to do this, since my Brother in law lives about 500 feet away from my house. I have the ability to build an antenna for it to hook to, but am wondering if there is a better choice as to an ethernet to wifi unit.?http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif #Any Ideas would be great! I was told something about a more powerful card to fit in that housing also?http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

Thanks!

Linksys WRT54GL here, running Firmware Version: v4.71.1, Hyperwrt 2.1b1 + Thibor15c on it, allowing much more settings with manual setting the output to 250 mWatts.

Homebrew vertical antenna, range 4 km's (2.5 miles) now.

The firmware you use for that, what site did you get it from? If I may ask?
