We have already had a President who spent his college days and many after college snorting coke and doing large quantities of alcohol.

This kind of campaign tactic, or tactic on the part of an individual, smacks of Rovian politics. #Smear an opponent with everything that sounds bad or can be found in a rumor mill, and see what might stick. #If nothing does, just repeat a rumor or two until they do stick. #One variation of this has aready entered the American vernacular: #Swiftboating, an organized attack on an opponent's record with false information.

I personally think Obama is probably an ok guy even though no one knows what he stands for and is not someone I would ever vote for.

Rove recently was quoted bragging about one of his very first dirty tricks he helped pull off in Illinois when he was in his early 20's. Well I do have an ADVANCED CLASS license. I did take a 13WPM code test (sending and receiving) at the Federal Building in downtown Los Angeles (I believe it was the 13th floor) - in front of rather grumpy FCC examiners. I was a pretty good CW op in my day.

You know, I've seen other comments you have made about Obama and I have to say they seem VERY uninformed. I see that you are very young and my advice to you is to do a bit more reading and understanding before you prejudge who people are. I know you had concern he was a Muslim -- which is TOTALLY FALSE and spread by hate mongers. You don't want to grow up being like that -- narrow and ignorant.

One can agree with Obama's policies and ideas, or not. But, if you do a bit of learning about his life you will discover his story in uniquely American. He was a very good student, graduated fine Universities, and became the first black President of The Harvard Law Review. He is what American is about -- a country where ones skin color and background does not impede ones potential for success and growth. I have lived in severals other countries and I can tell you this is not true anywhere else. His story should be celebrated, not denigrated. He is an American.

As you mature, try to formulate opinions through reason and fact, not the bigotry of those around you.
