Just realized we are enjoying an unexpected benefit from the writers strike. With no new material being generated for sitcoms that means every Tom, Dick, or Lauri who can wield a pen is missing the opportunity to write in a free promo/spin for the person running for President they like the most.

This means Hilliary and/or Obama is not getting as much media time as they would be getting.

If it wasn't for the impact this is happening on all the other jobs, it is a shame this couldn't last until November...... Don't mind reruns if it means someone won't be able to push their agenda where the sun doesn't shine.....

The writters strike is not a readers strike.

More people now have time to read newspapers, periodicals and internet bloggs. Some of the ham writters here on the Zed aren't so bad. Some tell of troubles that are worse than soap operas...othrers tell funnier jokes than those that are written professionally for comedians and silly sit-coms.
