I've had a bad experience with this fellow ham. I did get the radio in a timely manner. I got the radio and everything but it wasn't in 100% working order as promised. The LCD display is leaking and some of the light bulbs are burnt.
I've e-mailed Tom and he suggest it could have been damage by carrier. He asked me to contact him after contacting ICOM. I've e-mailed Tom with the over the Icom estimate I got over the phone. But I've yet to hear back from Tom.
Don't really think he's a bad guy. At the very least he should have done a better job at packing the radio radio. And been responsible for damage to the radio.
