I am looking to make any contacts on 10 meters. My yahoo messenger is on or just send me a email.

Be careful. You are on the edge of the voice band.
The best place for 10 would be around 28.400. Center of the voice band. When the band opens that is where you would most likely hear some contacts.

Listening on 28.400 USB now
Monday nights about 8:45pm to 9:30pm central time, W5LCC station has a net on 28.475. The start time depends on when the VHF/UHF net ends.

Ditto here, I can't wait until I get contacts like I was getting back in 2004 on 10m /m! Ahhhh, those were the days!
