A week ago Brian, W8PH had a Kenwood TS-2000 for sale here on QRZ. and he sold the rig to me. His email response was very quick. And he provided all of the information I asked for. When I sent him the money he shipped the radio that afternoon. I received it in less than a week, boxed and protected in Styrofoam moldings.
He was very up front about the small scratches on the top of the radio (which are no concern of mine). I hooked the radio up and had it on the air within minutes of removing it from the box. I worked PZ5YV in Suriname on 15 meters phone. Busted the pileup with 100 watts. And then later on in the day I worked him again on 17 meters. I also had a nice QSO with a ham in Georgia on 40 meters during the afternoon.
The rig was sold to me in perfectly working order. Brian has my vote of confidence if you're looking to buy anything from him, you shouldn't be concerned.
