Has anyone ever visited Skycraft Parts & Surplus in Orlando?
http://www.skycraftsurplus.com/
When I lived in Orlando I would go there all the time. FREAKIN AWESOME store.
The owners go to all of the defense contractor and government auctions and buy as much crap...uhh....err... I mean "surplus" parts as possible and then turn around and sell them.
There are a LOT of defense contractors and tech companies in Orlando:
NASA
Lockheed Martin
Northrop
Boeing
Raytheon
GE
Westinghouse
General Dynamics
Harris
Siemens
Veritas/Segate
USAF facilities
Naval/Army sim training facilities
HP
Electronic Arts
and of course the Naval Training Center (now defunct)
Needless to say these guys have a lot of places to draw surplus from.
