Does Ron Paul save his pocket lint?
I'd vote for a guy who saves his pocket lint.

With all due respect, IMHO:

Hillary has said the troops will be there at least until 2013. OSAMA MAD.

Ron has said the troops will be removed when he's elected. OSAMA HAPPY.

Everything continues as planned.

Ron has said the troops will be removed when he's elected.
The PNAC nation builders are defeated.

Here, I fixed that for you. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

That is true. So with the troops gone from Iraq and Afghanistan, Paul would then make Osama a very happy person.

The problem right now is that P Poor Planning has assured P Poor Performance. We are there. We are stuck. We will be for the foreseeable future. Probably another 25 years or so. Despite what anybody sez. This is from someone who is not for the war, but knows where we stand. Bank on it.

I can't disagree with that, and I think that was written into the script the entire time. How eloquent a plan this worked out to be, huh?

I work for the Suffolk County (NY) Board of Elections as an inspector at every federal election.

If Osama bin Laden came to vote in my district on election day...I would ask him to go see a judge. I wouldn't even offer him a temporary paper ballot.

War may be good for your economy if you are in the coffin making business.

w2ilp (I Like Peace) but nobody should give Osama the right to vote in our elections unless he is properly registered and can read Spanish or English as a first choice.

It's good if you own a company that provides goods or services to support the war.

If you are part of the economy that relies on cheap energy costs, in other words the civilian part of the economy, it sucks.

I dunno what you mean by "insights". # I can only say that we in NY use voting machines that have been in use for over 40 years. #They are entirely mechanical, being powered by the voters who push a large lever to open and close the curtains that make their voting a private affair. #There are individual levers for each candidate or proposition. #The levers can only be pressed once by each voter for the appropriate choices available to him or her. #The levers each can advance individual mechanical Veeder Root type counters. #There is also a counter that advances to show how many voted on each machine. #The voters must each sign an official roster which contains a listing of all the voters in the district who are eligible to vote because they have previously voted or have recently registered. #The number of voters who sign the roll book must be the same as the number accumulated on the machine counter. #At least two Republican and two Democrats tally up all of the counts on the machines after the polls are closed. #The Machines are then sealed and brought to the Board of Elections, so that the counts that are called in by telephone may be later verified. #During the reading of the counts at the polls official party representatives may be witness to the fact that there is no chance of faking any count. #Once locked the counters can not be changed.

The mechanical machines are expected to be replaced by electronic types later this year...but not in the primaries. #This is because of a Federal order that NY has tried to duck...but since there were errors in other states the entire systems will be eventually changed. #There is no reason to do so in NY...but we must observe federal requirements. #I dunno how any electronic machines can be more honest and accurate than what has been in use ever since I have been eligible to vote in New York. #We don't use punch paper ballots and wooden ballot boxes as I did when I resided in Florida for two years.

We don't need no paper trails; we have mechanical counters in New York...but I admit that paper trails are better than trails that are dropped without paper from toilet rolls.
