I have been experimenting with live video/audio broadcasting over the internet with an inexpensive webcamera for the last six weeks and finding it an interesting way to meet hams and non-hams around the world.
So far, over 8,400 people have browsed through the live channel.
My TV channel is http://justin.tv/kq4ym and would like to know if other hams have given thought to using this communication method to talk with other hams or show their stations over the live internet feeds.
Are there other uses for this that could be utilized by hams?
There does seem to be some resistance from ATV hams to this but I think it does add some new communication methods to hams even though it does not require a call to "broadcast" on the internet.
