I got this from a highly placed source in a large Christian denominational church. Well, maybe not the Pope although I'm certain that if he thought about it he would agree. Not that he actually has said this though. And most Cardinals would probably agree. Although none of them has actually said so.

But Jesus would vote for Ron Paul. If He were here.

Just wanted to post it before anybody beat me to it.

But would Jesus vote or support for the Death Penalty?

Actually, they didn't vote in those days, and never heard of voting, so I doubt he would even know what it meant to vote...

Jesus cant vote...he's a Palastinian and therefore not a US citizen so his opinion dont count for squat in a US election

Jesus lives down the block from me. His family has lived in this area since before there was a United States, but it wasn't until Junipero Serra came along that they started naming their kids after Palestinian refugees.

He tells me he's not voting for Ron Paul and he's tired of people asking him what he'd do.

I find this hard to believe. The Jesus I know is Puerto Rican.

I have no idea - Jesus may not even vote at all. Who knows?

But God Himself is very libertarian in nature.

Jesus might vote for Paul, but a good number of those named Jesus that I know about really shouldn't be voting in the United States at all since they came over the border from Mexico illegally.

Yes, I'm sure you have close confidants in the church...

And who would bother to beat you, little fella?

Another BRILLIANT post from One Who Would Like to be The Antichrist, but falls somewhat short, if you know what I mean.

People didn't vote in the time of Jesus. Religious ones contributed to Rabbis and Caesar. Secular ones contributed to Caesar and Rabbis. Other friends, Romans and countrymen just lent their ears.

God only knows who Jesus would vote for. BTW Would he be entitled to vote three times?
Would a Baptismal certificate be sufficent for voting or would a certificate of successful circumcision be required in Jesus day?

In my personal opinion if Jesus could vote and assuming that there was any chance for a Jewish carpenter to vote in a Roman colony, he would probably vote for Giuliani. Giuliani is the candidate who might be most likely to be crucified along with Jesus. The others wouldn't have a chance. Hillary couldn't even run in those Biblical times...nor could she expect to vote for anyone. Women had other ways of influencing leaders that they "knew" in Biblical times. Later Day Saints where still unknown (no Mormons yet)...and Born Again Christians weren't born even once already yet....to speak nothing of Monks who took an oath of silence in Morse Code before it was invented.
