Any problems with Yaesu 1802M ?

Anyone experienced problems with an 1802M that flashes frequency cutting off receive and transmit due to ? Power is not interrupted just signal. When it starts flashing ( in either scan or set) you must start scan or PTT button to clear. Happens cold, hot, moving, stopped motor on or off. Have the third unit back now to Yaesu, have had 3 new different brand antennaes, 2 separate new power cords direct to battery and problems continue. Only constant is the vehicle is the same, a late model Silverado. No stray RF, no apparent problems of any type. Totally frustrated, Thanks for any help

hi i have the exact same radio in the car, but i havent had any problems with it, im sure the unit should be replaced, its a good little rugged 2 meters. It does get a little hot, but i havent had any problems like that. have you tried the radio on a power supply in the house at all away from your suv ?
