Hi. #Once again I'm probably on a hopeless quest, but succumbing to my senility, I built a copy of my very first radio - a single 3S4 regen out of the League's "How to become a Radio Amateur", Year One Edition. #Problem is that my antique earphones are 1000 ohms imp. & I am looking for something in the order of 2000 ohms or up. #Does anyone out there have a working pair they would like to sell? try a 70v line transformer. Normally used in commercial sound systems.. It has many taps to get the right impedance and you can use your standard 8-20 ohm headset. Radio shack sells a 10w unit. Email for more info if needed. ruteng1 at roadrunner dot com
