Does this go beyond dumb?

I wonder if this dude was drunk or on drugs?

CATONSVILLE, Md. -- Baltimore County police said an officer shot a 24-year-old man who used pepper spray on his partner, then ran at them with a machete.

Sure, blame substance abuse.

A drunk stoned idiot that would pepper spray a cop and attack him with a machete is still an idiot that would pepper spray a cop and attack him with a machete after he is sober. He may not have the courage to do so when sober, but is still a big enough idiot to do so.

I was going to say the same thing. Drunk or drugs is no excuse. This person is clearly off his rocker.

Sounds like the one cop needs to spend more time at the target range learning to shoot better.
