I am loving this snow, IT'S ABOUT TIME.
Perfect timing too! It fell on the weekend so I get to play in it with the ATV.
We need some of that snow in Northern Wisconsin, too. My Arctic Cat is begging to go for a ride.
Saw a couple out today, riding on the bare trails. Thankfully they were ski-doos, no loss if they get wrecked. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Tell you what. You can have some of our HOT weather next summer. How does 98 degrees with 100% relative humidity sound ?

That is rain (100% humidity), and we had a yearly record here in OK this year. Nearly 40 inches which beat the old record about 7 inches. Heat runs about 98-103 with 65% humidity in July-August every year.
No record cold though, but I am ready for the North wind to quit. Currently the humidity is 76% with winds gusting to about 30. Get ready where you are.

Well, I don't know what it's doing up in the great white north part of the state, but in the south-eastern part of the state it has been coming down for most of the day and is even the decent powder snow that is good for winter sports. It would be a good time to be out on a sled for sure, haven't done that in many years.

I was outside a lot today and looked all over for the snow but couldn't find it.
Send some to us.
Today it was 74 degrees and if there was any snow out there I think it evaporated. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Here in the Charlotte region, we're getting our first significant rain since this past spring. #We're in a severe drought status, and this won't won't get us back to normal, but every bit helps.
We have maybe two inches at my house N. of Anchorage. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

Sounds like summer in Iowa. It's always been that "hot" in the summer here. As a matter of fact during the early 1930's it was hotter.
We are finally having a regulation Iowa winter after having the last four off. We're supposed to have a little clipper come through about Tuesday/Wednesday then, to quote the local NWS weather geeks, "Another major winter storm for the weekend".

Can't help you with the snow, but I'll bet you could come to Oklahoma and take all the fire wood you would need for FREE! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Yes it's true, every little but DOES help.
I think we got nearly three quarters of an inch last night here in what we affectionately refer to as G'vegas. (Greenville)
