Hi all. I keep hearing about puter programs that allow you to see a visual of the incoming signals and how they change as you make adjustments to your filters etc., so that you can see what works best. (Helpful if your hearing is shot like mine.) Can you tell me which ones work best? I've looked around but I must be looking for the wrong item as I've not been able to find anything that does this... Thanks. LEN

any PSK31 program will have a waterfall display. However, probably one of the best general purpose waterfall display is ARGO.....also freeware.

I addition to the PSK programs, there's also MMSSTV (shows about 3 kc bandwith and has a bunch of "dsp type" filters you can play with. But a lot of guys use spectran referenced in the link above.

For that I use Spectran, it is the BEST program Ive seen yet, also does filtering but not in real time.. If you dont mind the delay you should find it good for filtering also...

Thanks everyone for the replies. I actually have Spectran but haven't been able to figure out how to use it yet. I'll keep plugging away and I suppose that eventually I'll figure it out.
