Having lived a mere 20 (twenty) miles south of the Kansas border MOST OF MY LIFE and knowing LOTS of people and friends in Kansas, I KNOW from a LIFETIME of experience that this is hardly "news". What sort of demented person goes to that extreme just to get even? My God – I’m glad that I live at least 900 miles away from him other wise I’d probably wake up tomorrow with my tires slashed.

There is a certain clique on here – you know who they are. Apparently they feel that they should be the only ones in control of this forum and no one else is entitled to an opinion.

I as a rule try not to throw out the first insult but neither will I let one directed at me pass unanswered. I will admit that perhaps some of the things I have said in jest were taken the wrong way – we’ve all been there. Yet I will still insist that I only reply in kind. However some of this stuff goes so far back that I don’t think any of us can really say who started it.

But sometimes I feel like the football player that gets flagged for fighting back.

Unfortunately, there have been too many good threads ruined because of the fact that I chose to participate and at least one of clique has to sling a barb in my direction. That thread then becomes another bitch session instead of a place for free and opens discourse as the original poster intended.

There are too many good people on here that have their enjoyment disrupted because of the actions of a few.

I am obviously a target and these jerks don’t think twice about the original intent of the thread as long as they can engage in the same little juvenile spitefulness that they believe passes for learned discourse. I know that some of you seem to believe that I am the antagonist because KW4MW comes up a lot in these sorry exchanges. Check it out – I don’t think you’ll find anywhere where I went out of my way to deliver the first insult.

But you know – when it comes to the point that one of them actually goes out of his way to pull what he did earlier this evening – it is time for me to move on. These bastards are simply sick and twisted so I am logging off of QRZ for the last time. I am only sorry that many of you choose to sit by silently instead of making an issue of their spiteful and petty ways.
