I don't know, but I found the picture on some C.B. rag website. I thought it was sooooo funny. I'm betting the original owner of this "rig" has a gut the size of Texas and his name is "Bubba."

I'm betting that the number of radios in that car is higher than the owners IQ.

I wonder what it smells like in there.... then again, I probably don't want to know.

The best mobile shack in the world would have all the crap in the back and a single integrated control panel up front for all radios. One single microphone.

What a pile of crappola. Half the stuff looks like it would go flying at over 10 mph.

I hate to think what the guys garage and hamshack at home look like.

Wackermobile! Yes, I posted this picture last year. And as for the smell, probably CHEESE.

Is the purple can on the floor a can of Pringles from the 1960's, or is a fire extinguisher?

Look on the bottom left of the pic under the steering wheel. Looks like there is one neatly bundled set of wires there. Good thing he did that -- wouldn't want him to trip getting out!

Do you think he had to put in a bigger amp producing alternator? If so, how much "J.B. Weld" and duct tape did he use to secure it to the engine block?

Yep, the original 'Porcupine car' from HamSexy.

I have seen it twice, and yes, he is from the midwest, maybe it is MO. I just don't remember.

MY guess is he is either NOT married (DUH) or at least, she has her OWN vehicle, likely with the radio ripped out.....

I can NOT imagine NOT getting a ticket for something....That just CAN'T be legal.....

If they ever want to argue about hams being exempt from 'Drving while using a CellPhone' law, someone will find these pics and we'll ALL be outlawed from having radios in the car ! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

i saw the pic...
i am actually speechless.
all i can say is that it would suck if something shorted and all those radios caught on fire.
i hard wired a starter a loooooong time ago and when i went into work that morning shortly after i clocked in i was shortly informed that my car was on fire.
imagine my surprise..
i wont say that i soiled myself but i was really really surprised.
i would be concerned if the inside of my vehicle looked like that.
i barely tolerate a hand-held,i cant see it. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif

I saw this on Hamsexy a while back.

An octopus owns it. Who else could drive, shift a stick, talk on a dozen radios and drink Pepsi all at the same time?

Just think what this doofus does for the image of ham radio. Whatever it is, I hope it's reversible.

Some people hoard pets, this wingnut hoards radios. Any competent law enforcement officer should be able to have it towed as a hazard. Not to mention one hell of a distraction to others on the road. I would classify it as an attractive nuisance. Incredible.
