Hi all,
I just upgraded to General in November (2 days before the ARRL Phone Sweeps). #Even with my compromise antenna setup (multi-band dipole in the attic of our two story townhome apartment) I managed to log 21 states and one Canadian province (thanks to everyone else's big antennas). #I'm having fun, and I'm also working on learning to receive and send cw as I know that it will give me an advantage in making contacts during this part of the sunspot cycle. #
In the meantime, I am trying to achieve WAS on phone. #I already have CA, IA, MN, LA, MI, IL, AL, AR, GA, VA, OH, IN, TX, SD, MD, WI, DE, NM, MO, HI, KS. #If anyone from any state not already listed is willing, I would enjoy making contact on 15 and 20 during the day on the weekend or 40 on most evenings. #
I also enjoy QSO's but with my setup and the current conditions they don't last very long on HF. #I'm looking forward to later in the sunspot cycle when things will get better. #In the meantime I'll do what I can do... http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Thanks,
