Dear friends:
Tomorrow (Sunday 2 Dec), I along with my crew will depart from Port Montt, Chile, toward Buenos Aires, Argentina. We will be sailing for approximately 12 days and along this route, we will be traveling past the Magellan Strait and very close to Cape Horn.
Truly, for many, ham radio activity from this southern sector has always been very important, although in my case we will be maritime mobile. This is why I come to you, in case you'd like to contact me on the following frequencies:
14.300 SSB MARITIME MOBILE SERVICE NET
14.130 SSB RUEDA CARIBEÑA
28.400 SSB CONTACTO
21.300 SSB CONTACTO
18.150 SSB CONTACTO
14.220 SSB CONTACTO
7.063 SSB CONTACTO
Hope to copy you,
Greetings to all,
HP2ECP/MM

I had the privilege of meeting Manolis Joannu,a Panamanian Merchant Marine, while stationed in Panama' in 1992. Lately, Manolis has been extremely active from this part of the world. Seventeen years later, we remain good friends.
