Good luck on your Simplex nets. As time goes it will grow and also you will get more hams using simplex and off the repeaters. I know it happened here in SNJ. I am the creator and Net Controller of the Friday Night Simplex Net here in Atlantic City NJ. The net is on 146.580Mhz at 7:30pm.
Have fun with the net and keep us posted how it is going.

Thanks Rick. #With 3 weeks under our belts we're doing ok. #We might have to rework our time because of traffic nets that a lot of hams around here participate in. #And other than conditions we seem to be getting out around our area.

Just to keep the QRZ members up to date: The Taunton Area Communications Group Simplex Net is still going strong despite growing pains. As net control I have had scheduling conflicts but Don KB1LXH has taken over and done a fine job. We will continue on Wednesday evenings at 8:00 pm.
Some future planning might make us change our time due to several traffic nets that are held in the area. We'll keep you up to date as to when and if that change will take place. Please join the Taunton Area Communications Group for our simplex net on 146.430 Mhz.
