Here is something to not try at home.

My wife decided to do me a favor by washing my winter jacket.

It really needed to be done because I haven’t washed it since it was new about three years ago.

Unfortunately my wife has the uncanny ability to not check any of the pockets in anything she ever washes.

Since it has already been a bit on the chilly side lately I had already been wearing the jacket occasionally.

This morning she tossed it into the machine and let it run extra rinse cycle and all.

In the pockets were my favorite pipe and a pouch of tobacco.

I think the pipe will be alright but that pouch of tobacco was darn near new and since it didn’t open in the wash I decided to try to dry it out and use it anyway.

I put it on a cookie sheet and set it in the oven.

While it did dry out nicely not to dry not to wet it tastes like laundry soap and smells like spring breeze when I tried to smoke it.

Do men still smoke pipes ? I haven't seen a man with a pipe for years.

captain black (white label) is my weed of choice. i still call it blowing a bowl.
you could put the soapy stuff in a potpourri thing and light it. smell the house purty.
