The morning paper has a story about someone pulling cars over by using flashing blue lights. The person reporting said that the "officer?" had on a uniform but it wasn't one he recognized nor did he have a badge. He gave a warning about illegal passing and that the driver was lucky that he was pulled over by one of the "good ones".
As an real CHiPee in California told me one time. "When I pull a car over with Mississippi plates on it, I am real careful cause I know it has a gun in it somewhere". I would say something about state profiling but I have to agree with him.
