Now instead of being made in Japan, it will be made in Taiwan, like everything else Moto. Dont get me wrong, I love Moto, used to work for them (installs and bench tech)... just rather see it made somewhere else.
Oh yeah, almost forgot a lot of it is hecho en Mexico too!

I wonder if Yaesu will be getting out of the ham business? Motorola hates hams using their radios. One hears of their security goons going to hamfests and generally harassing people (besides cowthief).
