No way, no how would I have put up with this in college. Is there any wonder students go on shooting rampages? This sounds like england, we are only months behind that sorry country.

I dont see the connection between VT shootings (only 45min from me, so Im a little offended you made this connection) and what the UD wants to do.

True, UD has a sad situation on there hands, but you sir.... skew reality to suit your twisted conclusions.

The U of DE is full of Baloney. Saying that all Whites are Racist is like saying all Blacks are thugs and Cop Killers. Both untrue statements. To the U of DE: Kiss my Red Hairy Behind and Liberalism is a Mental Disorder.

What's Vermont have to do with Delaware?

Looks like I'm a racist, and you all are non terms. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif Some of us take pride in our positions, and can defend them quite well. The correcties can shift like blades of grass in the wind, always trying to please the latest numbnut dogma. They are the ones who give us the likes of George W Bush and Dick Cheney.
All humans are equal. Everyone knows blacks aren't superior athletes in any way, shape or form.

All whites are racists. As a white I am a racist. If we were not racists we would not be at war.

One can appreciate that public and private colleges alike are taking steps to provide environments free from abuse and true harrassment of sorts, and to make their students, and the collective community at large feel safe. Let's remember that harrassment is an act defined by legal / moral standards in all reality as an act of repetition done with openly malicious intent.

FIRE is absolutely correct however, as confirmed in the courts by virtue of final court rulings. I've read all of these articles noted as "Offerings" from the site located at the bottom of this article.

The spirit of these educational institutions is right, but their actions are dead wrong. I see instances of colleges willfully and knowingly trashing our constitution and then using clearly wanton, cruel, and disproportionate punishment.

Free spech was not given to be punished because someone or a group of people disagree with it. Diversity is a great thing, we are all equals in every way for obvious reasons.

Not even the most degreed and decorated individual is above another person anywhere. Forceful, systematic re-education in the fashion of socialist communist thought control is inhuman in every respect.

This judge, whom I beleive to be related to another notable judge who served on our nation's supreme court needs to be re-examined due to his notoriety for making absurd rulings. Who does he think he is to rule that parents can't have exclusive right in sexual education of their kids according to their own faith based belief system and personal values?

Who does he think he is to rule that the pledge is unconstitutional because of the "In God We Trust" statement?

The requiring of psychiatric / psychological intervention because of an ideological clash of values personally, or politically is abuse in and of itself.

Mental health has, for decades made attempts to invade the privacy of others, and has always openly held the position that everyone but themselves are sick. The psych community has had years, more than 100 to be exact to prove the existence of mental / brian disorders. The existence of the DSM does not in itself, prove anytyhing because there is no testing that is reliable as in other medical diseases. Personality tests should be taken VERY lightly due to their discriminatory and unscientific nature, especially given their invasiveness and slant towards open judgement that is most times incorrect.

Take for instance, the MMPI2....the questions are very non-specific, vague, leading, and lends the entire document to alarmist and narrow-minded gun jumping.

A person's views / perceptions / values / cultural / personal / faith based / sociological beliefs DO NOT and have NEVER proven any kind of illness. The only place I can find true scientific reasoning in the DSM is in the definition of "Narcissistic Personality Disorder" when it mentions the word "Repetitive Behavior" and then leads into language that states such as "Interfering with daily life to the degree of diminished personal care and overall functioning".

When deciding of a person is having mental health problems, the term repetitive behavior and interfering with daily life...etc, needs to be applied carefully because some people live a certain way due to their personal beleifs rooted in faith systems, cultural upbringing, political opinions, and yes, even FREE STATEMENTS protected by the first amendment.

God bless FIRE!
