Global Warming caused California fires

There's no doubt to any reasonable person our climate has changed and continues to change. Our last ice age may have been referred to as "Global Cooling" and when the flows of ice receded we had "Global Warming". I'm doubtful these events were caused by humans. More than likely they were caused by the ebb and flow of the nuclear furnace at the center of our solar system. Even old Sol has his good days and his bad.

What drives me to drink are the factions who lob insults back and forth at each other and blame everything from fires to fashion faux pas on the thermometer. The latest example are the fires that turned southern California from raw to extra crispy. One faction screamed "See, Al Gore is right!" ignoring a simple possibility: a child playing with matches. But I bet the boy's parents OWNED a SUV-which doomed him from the start and caused him to do this!

If the boys parents had owned a Hybrid, worn sandals, drank Green tea (I drink only Earl Grey!!), and hugged alot of trees, the boy would have never thought to light a match. #He would have known that big bad fires can hurt all those little deers and bunnies hopping around. #He would have worried about those little Ecaulyptus tree saplings growing up that might get burnt. #And he would know that if his parents had a SUV, the greenhouse gasses would be heating up the planet so hot that the Polar Icecaps would melt any day and flood all the coastlines, making mountaintops the new beachfront property. #And with hotter and dryer weather, all caused by SUVs, there will be more Santa Anas and more fires. #Children don't start fires, it is all because SUVs drive them too it!!!
