Holy cow, welcome to the elusive and addictive world of CW! E-Mail me some time for a sked, we can work 40 no problem, should be at least. Im still new so the two of us should be a hoot on a CW QSO! HA HA!
Cheers!
Andrew
Thanks Andrew, I will do that ... I have known CW for years but never used it ... so I have been brushing up lately trying to learn all of the abbreviations. Seems the average I run across on the bands is 18-20 wpm ... to fast for me! But I listen in with CWGet to get a feel for the whole thing. It comes in handy for seperating out the pile ups too.

I have an MFJ-418 CW tutor and love it! Also the G4FON software is the BEST Ive seen! You can get it directly off my site ("mirror")

The FISTS frequency on 40 meters is 7.058. 20 meters is 14.058. A fb bunch of friendly ops who will qso at any speed you are comfortable with. Awesome to see you guys interested in operating cw! Don't be afraid to tell the other guy to slow down.

I would be very happy to run cw with you. I'm also a slow fist even though I've been doing cw for 32 years now. Name a time and freq. BTW, I'm in Wyoming if your looking for a new state. Good to see new cw ops coming in.

I'd be happy to QSO w/you. I use a straight key so slow is fine. I'm in NV. Just drop me an e-mail to set it up.
