Joined 12/2006. 231 posts. And you ask about this spot on the dial. Fascinating.

Nothing is wrong with the frequency. Radio waves oscillate a little faster there than they do on say, 14.200, and slightly slower than on 14.350. Otherwise, it's difficult to tell the difference.

Try calling CQ there for a while. You may meet some interesting people to chat with. You don't know until you try!

There's an idiot in western Canada who hates Americans and is a self-proclaimed pervert who runs a nightly show on that frequency. Make some popcorn and listen if you have the stomach for it.

The FCC can do nothing, since he's in Canada.

Then several KFM haters transmit loops of "visit VE7KFM.com" all that time, making it more interesting.
