Clearly, this video was doctored by the vast right wing conspiracy!! You know, the same one that Hitlery was all up in arms about. Oh by the way, if you also keep looking, you'll find a nice video of Hitlery in front of those Pink ladies where she says Saddam must go, based on her own independent research.
How soon the Libs forget and change their color when it suits them. Something about core values that is just lacking.

Gore is referring to the good ol days when Sadaam was the darling of the Reagan/Bush administration, when Rumsfeld shook his hand and when sadaam was given all the support he needed and could do no wrong. Much has happened since then. Years of sanctions, weaponse inspections, etc. Iraq was no longer the militarily enriched nation that it was under Reagan/Bush. At that point the real danger was bin laden and Al Queda which the present Bush administration ignored.

So George shouldn't have taken Gore's lessons to heart? BTW, Where is that WMD? It wasn't found anywhere by anybody; Saddam said he destroyed it, as if we could trust Saddam more than Gore. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

If you had said "At that point the real danger was bin laden and Al Queda which <Clinton> ignored" I could understand.
To suggest Bush ignored them is lunacy beyond belief.
You loones on the left *really* must try harder. Your momma's would not be proud.

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members, though there is apparently no evidence of his involvement in the terrible events of September 11, 2001. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Should he succeed in that endeavor, he could alter the political and security landscape of the Middle East, which as we know all too well affects American security." -- Hillary Clinton, October 10, 2002

Yes indeed they did. When Bush took office there were numerous reports from the Clinton administration stating that bin laden and his Al Queda
band were determined to attack in the US. The intelligence data was largely ignored by the Bush admin and dismissed by Condi as overly paranoid and outdated

This was nothing new. Numerous attempts by Clinton to persue al queda were repeatedly met with resistance from republicans.

Let's face it..we, the people, know more about it than any of our leaders. #Having said that, it's up to us to build a consensus about where to go from here. #And we can't do that if we're blindly being sycophants to whoever the ignorant electorate sends to the White House or Congress.
Change will only come at the grass roots level where real Americans have the backbone and guts to sit down together, talk it over, and find out that we're really saying the same thing, once you get past the media BS that passes for news coverage.
But that won't happen til we're willing to stick our own individual egos up our own nether holes, and show some humility in the discussion.
